Abstract
For this study we use GPS collar data from two wolf populations in Turkey and Croatia to compare their home ranges in order to determine which populations home ranges are larger. These two populations live in similar climates but have different impacts from human activity. The wolf population in Turkey experiences larger human presence and almost no natural prey availability, while in Croatia the wolf population exists in a more natural habitat with a substantial natural prey base. This creates an interesting comparison between the two populations and raises the question which average home range would be larger.
