Description
Variable stars change in luminosity over time. Using Brigham Young University telescope data and the SIMBAD database, we determined and analyzed the periods of selected variable stars and compared our results to published values. Light curves were generated using AstroImageJ and analyzed with a Python script to model variability and calculate periods.
