Description
The Office of Empowering Teaching Excellence was designed to "elevate and promote our culture of teaching excellence through events and programs that are open to all USU instructors, regardless of role statement or location". To accomplish this goal, ETE has created the ETE10 program, a pathway designed around the architecture of engagement that promotes instructor development towards earning two culminating teaching certificates. The program is designed to allow instructors to earn badges through engaging in events, implementing new methods and pedagogy, and contributing to the overall teaching environment. Instructors can participate in over 90 badges and can take a focused track allowing them a deep dive into a particular aspect of instruction. These tracks include Foundations of College Teaching, Digital-Age Teaching, Evidence Based Teaching and new this year Explore College Teaching - a track designed just for our graduate student community. Earning these certificates not only will be an important accomplishment you can put on your CV, but it will also improve your teaching and thus student success at USU.
