For the past year, I have been a part of a group of USU instructors earning a certificate in effective college teaching from the Association of College and University Educators. This session will include a brief overview of the teaching strategies I had the most success implementing in my classroom over the past semester as a graduate instructor. Topics covered will include: tips for organizing your learning management system, ideas for developing an orientation module, guidelines for developing transparent assignments, and tactics for using course data and feedback to mentor your students.
