Description
The top two reasons USU alumni engaged in higher education was for “intellectual development and career success“ according to the National Alumni Career Mobility Survey. Higher education institutions are looking at how they can create an entire career ecosystem across their institution to better prepare students for their careers after college and to have successful alumni out in the workforce and community. This session will help you answer common questions about this process, such as:
- How can we help students better understand how their classes connect to career?
- How can we leverage our relationship as instructors to guide students in being an active designer in their career paths?
- What activities/strategies can we implement to support students’ career development?
Participants will contribute to and take away ideas that they can adapt and implement into their own courses.
